CHAPTER 1
The Trunk
The
trunk smelt of rotten fish, and the area around was dark. Saf
Cutter sat
in a crunched, but relaxed position, waiting to be unloaded onto a
gravel covered lake side. This would be the part in which the clan
of extraordinary nit wits would tie
a weight to his leg, drop him into the water, and roll away
unscathed. Well, that was what they thought, Saf's plans were on a
different wave length.
On
the way to his final resting place, he removed a cigarette from his
pocket, and lit it for a smoke. Click, the flip top lighter went,
with the glow of the flame immediately illuminating the trunk. There
was a shovel, a cinder block, rope, and a tire iron. As he got a
glimpse of the contents of the trunk, Saf smiled, gave a little
snicker, and sucked in a good deal of smoke.
“This
is gonna be fun.”, he said, letting the relaxing whirls of the
tires lull him to sleep.
